HAIR ASSISTANT

A hair assistant is the starting point for many in the industry. Responsibilities include shampooing, blow-drying, preparing workstations, and assisting senior stylists. This role provides hands-on experience, allowing individuals to build technical skills, customer service abilities, and industry knowledge. As you gain sufficient experience and able to demonstrate your skills, you may have the opportunity to take on more advanced tasks and eventually transition into a full-fledged hairstylist role salons and training programs offer apprenticeships, creating a pathway for assistants to become licensed hairstylists.
